Lucy joined Plimsoll Productions in 2019 as Series Producer on Tiny Worlds for Apple TV+ and is now Showrunner on another blue chip wildlife series for a global SVOD. A talented and creative filmmaker, Lucy specialises in natural history, adventure and popular science programming. She started her broadcast career at the prestigious BBC Natural History Unit, where she spent 15 years working across a range of award-winning wildlife programmes including Big Cat Diary, The Natural World, Elephant Diaries and Pacific Abyss. Her career spans presenter-led documentaries, Live outside broadcasts, diary and magazine formats as well as expedition observational documentaries and high-end blue-chip wildlife films for a number of international broadcasters.

With a keen sense of story, Lucy is always striving to find new and engaging ways to bring the wonders of the natural world to a wide audience. Some of Lucy’s recent credits include Hugh’s Fish Fight: Save our Seas for Channel 4; Africa: Countdown to the Rains and Kate Humble: Into the Volcano for the BBC; numerous Shark Week shows for Discovery Channel, and the Emmy nominated natural history series Savage Kingdom and The Flood, for National Geographic.
