Discovery+ is rolling out a month-long slate of multi-platform programming, including a number of original documentaries, next month in commemoration of Earth Day.

Premiering April 1, Atlantic Productions’ Expedition Deep Ocean will see explorer and entrepreneur Victor Vescovo and his Five Deeps Expedition team set off on a descent to the bottom of all five of the world’s oceans.

Next up, the Jupiter Entertainment-produced First to the Top of the World tells the true story of how, in 1968, four “average Joes” from Minnesota teamed up with a French Canadian to make the 500-mile journey across the polar ice cap to the North Pole via snowmobile. The film premieres April 8.

Produced in association with Seeker and Nomadica, The Swim, launching April 15, follows long-distance swimmer Ben Lecomte as he embarks on a 5,000-mile long swim across the Pacific Ocean to raise awareness on the impact of pollution to the ocean’s health.

On April 29, Discovery+ will premiere Underdog Films and Plimsoll Productions’ Chasing Ocean Giants, which features Patrick Dykstra, Wall Street lawyer turned BAFTA award-winning ocean cinematographer and modern-day sea explorer, as he travels to some of the most difficult and hostile places on earth.

On Earth Day, April 22, Discovery+ will present a two-hour preview of the previously announced five-part Perfect Planet series. From David Attenborough and the team behind Planet Earth and The Hunt, the series also airs on Discovery Channel at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

As previously announcedEndangered (pictured), executive produced and narrated by Ellen DeGeneres, will also premiere on Earth Day. The documentary is the BBC Studios Natural History Unit’s first non-BBC commission
