Alison has bookended her career as a series producer at the BBC with work in the charitable sector. After 12 years in television production Alison reconnected with community work as a fundraiser for the NSPCC, The Rowans Hospice and as a local Enterprise Network Adviser. Plimsoll is committed to supporting initiatives designed to increase diversity and inclusivity in the industry. Working with community partners Alison has set up work experience opportunities for local young people, provided workshops for local schools and has established a Wildlife Internship Programme for Plimsoll.
