Andy has overall responsibility for new business at LDC and he plays an integral role in the delivery of LDC’s pledge to invest £1.2billion over the next three years. He is also a member of the LDC Investment Committee and Executive Committee.
With more than 23 years’ experience, he is focused on identifying ambitious management teams that would benefit from private equity investment and ensuring they have a strategic partner that can help them to deliver their growth ambitions.
Andy joined LDC in 2008 and since then, he has led some of the firm’s most successful investment partnerships and supported businesses across a variety of sectors. This has included supporting the growth of woodland holiday provider Forest Holidays, lifestyle brand Joules and global beauty products group Original Additions. He also continues to support the businesses LDC has invested in and sits on the board of Addo Food Group and Forest Holidays.
After graduating from Sheffield University, Andy qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and spent 15 years as a Corporate Finance Adviser with both Deloitte and PwC, where he specialised in private equity backed transactions.
