Children’s & Family Emmy Nominations Revealed

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences today revealed the nominees for its fourth annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, the stand-alone competition that honors creativity and innovation in children’s entertainment. See the full list below.

Winners will be feted during the 2025 Children’s & Family Emmys ceremony on March 1 and 2, which will be held in New York City for the first time, at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall. Winners in the Juried Individual Achievement in Animation categories will be announced early next year, as will the Lifetime Achievement honoree and ceremony host and presenters.

“We’re excited to honor the extraordinary individuals and teams who bring children’s and family television to life every day,” said Rachel Schwartz, Head of the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. “As the landscape continues to grow—and as studies highlight the positive impact educational programming has on young children—we look forward to coming together to celebrate this meaningful and inspiring work.”

Outstanding Informational Program
Outstanding Writing for a Preschool or Children’s Series
Outstanding Directing for a Live Action Series
Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Live Action Program
Outstanding Cinematography and Technical Arts for a Single Camera Live Action Program
Outstanding Editing for a Preschool or Children’s Live Action Program
Outstanding Sound Mixing and Sound Editing for a Live Action Program
