As Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Plimsoll, Jonathan takes the lead on all financial matters. He also has a key focus of maximising commercial opportunities that arise from the creation of multi-platform content.  Jonathan has 25 years of strategic, operational and financial experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry, with a career that spans Televisions, Music and Live Events. Prior to Plimsoll he spent 6 Years at DRG, the UK’s largest Independent International TV Distributor. As Chief Operating Officer, he acted as business partner to the CEO, adding rigor to strategic decisions, devising and implementing growth objectives, identifying risks and opportunities, then taking the lead managing performance. He was then appointed Group Managing Director, leading DRG through a successful sale process. He has held senior financial roles at BBC Studio’s Worldwide and Channel 4 and prior to DRG spent 4 years at Ingenious Media, an investment house specializing in Media and Entertainment, advising companies like 19 Entertainment, the creator of American Idol, and Cream, the dance music brand, both pre and post private equity funding.
