Andrea Jackson has been a formats and distribution specialist for 20 years. Starting out at formats pioneer, Action Time (now part of ITV Global), she went on to set up a new format sales business at Mentorn Barraclough Carey, building the Robot Wars brand into a global hit.

Andrea went on to launch production and distribution business, Zeal Entertainment. With international hits such as Pepsi Chart Show and The Singing Bee, Zeal rapidly built a reputation as a creative and innovative business.

Following the sale of Zeal to DRG, Andrea became DRG’s Managing Director, Acquisitions & Formats, working with titles such as The Farm, Don’t Tell the Bride, 15 to 1 and Doc Martin. In 2015, Andrea decided it was time to use her experience, contacts and vision to build her own entrepreneurial business and launched distributor Magnify Media representing content for NRK, YLE, Argonon Group, Rare TV, CNN Vision and Lionsgate as well as Plimsoll. Plimsoll acquired a minority stake in Magnify in 2016 and fully acquired the company in 2020.
